We don’t have a washing machine in our small apartment, so we take most of our laundry down to the laundromat downstairs, so why do we still need a space saving laundry machine in our tiny apartment? Well, sports undergarments, delicates, and natural fabrics need to be treated with some TLC according to their washing instruction labels (we overlook this too much!) If you want your favorite linen shirt to last longer, the way you wash it is extremely important in preserving its longevity.
Here are 3 small washing machines out there we think are really applicable to Hong Kong.
Space saving washing machine 1: Drumi
The Drumi by Yirego is small and portable. We think this example is the most practical for Hong Kong in fact. It can hold up to 5 liters of water and apparently it only takes 10 minutes of your time for the load to be washed. Add in a bit of leg work and you got a nice workout
Space saving washing machine 2: King Jim Swash
The King Jim Swash is a Japanese Creation that looks like a blender. It can hold 5 liters of water and has a washing capacity of 250g. You can simply use regular detergent, close the lid and in 15 minutes you will have clean clothes. We have seen something similar to this in Sogo Department Store.
Space saving washing machine 3: Dolfi
The final product we are featuring is the Dolfi (feature image) and it easily breaks the “Cool Factor” scale. Using ultrasonic technology, it blasts and zaps dirt away like no tomorrow! Can you hear a “Sonic Booooom!” It just past it’s crowd funding phase at Indiegogo and can be pre-ordered now.
